Additionally, Maarten provides an overview of the brand new web toolkit featured in this release such as full-featured debugging of TypeScript, Dart or CoffeeScript with source maps, refined handling of JS libraries, REST client, re-worked HTML structure view, improved HTML and CSS coding including Emmet, new database schema editor and change tracking tools.

    I saw in the pdf of Q&A that there were a handful of questions asking for support for this or that library. I remember one of the great features of php storm originally was that it did not need pre-defined library support, it “learned” things like code completion based on the libraries that were included in my php project. Does it still work that way now? If so, what is the purpose of having “pre defined support” for a library?

    Hi Jack,

    PhpStorm indeed still works that way. The IDE learns about these libraries and will provide autocompletion, navigation and more. When working with namespaces, PhpStorm will automatically learn about them as well.

    Many libraries out there now come with very specific command line tools and so on, the questions in the document were about those.
