IntelliJ IDEA 13 EAP 130.1179 with Read-only Data Sources

In case if you keep trying the new features of the upcoming IntelliJ IDEA 13 we have good news for you today. One more preview build with new bugfixes and enhancements has just released and is available for download.

Just an example of the new features is the new read-only property for your data sources defined in the project. With this new property you can easily protect your production database from accidental changes.

    I’m amazed. I keep thinking it’s just an IDE – a glorified text editor. It has everything. What else can they add? Why would I upgrade? And then something new and simple like read-only data sources is added – something that I never knew I wanted before. I soooo need this now.
