IntelliJ IDEA at SpringOne 2GX 2013, Survey and License Winners

It was a pleasure for us be invited to SpringOne 2GX, one of the most exciting developer conferences ever. We didn’t expect to see so many bright developers which are ardent fans of IntelliJ IDEA and other JetBrains products. Special thanks to Pivotal for a great event. Also thanks to those who attended our session “How to Become a Productive Groovy/Grails and Spring Developer.” We hope to publish the recording soon so everyone can watch it. In the meanwhile you can see the slides from the presentation.

At the conference we ran a quick survey on the technologies and tools developers use for their work. Over two hundred Groovy, Grails and Spring developers gave us their feedback, and we’d like to share the results with you.

Survey

What languages do you use or would like to use for your next project?

What frameworks do you use or would like to use for your next project?

Do you use IntelliJ IDEA?

Does your team use different IDEs in one project? Choose which ones.

These statistics shows once again that IntelliJ IDEA is one of the main tools for Groovy, Grails and Spring developers. We’re happy to see so many professional developers choosing IntelliJ IDEA as their favorite IDE.

Everyone who took part in the survey will get 50% off for a personal license for IntelliJ IDEA as we promised. The coupons will be sent to your email addresses. And we’d also like to name 20 people from this list to give a personal license for IntelliJ IDEA for free!
