We allowed ourselves to make a longer pause between EAP builds. It is summer after all, right?
But before the previous build expires we’re pushing a new one. You are welcome to download it from AppCode EAP page.
- It contains a number of fixes. Thanks for your reports guys!
- An initial Objective-C++ support.
- Verified compatibility with Mac OS X Lion.
- Full-screen mode under Lion. And you, AppCode EAP users, are the first ones who can try it. There’s a known issue about a “hole” in the bottom. Please let us know how it works for you.
We are also working on LLDB support. You should be able to try it in one of the next builds.
PS. If you downloaded AppCode build 108.803 earlier today, please get this one instead.
Develop with pleasure!
The AppCode Team
Hello,
Thanks guy for all your work. Will you do the same with other JetBrains’s IDE and Lion?
Because the new Full Screen on Lion, is very cool, we can have the browser in one space and the IDE in another. How do you to do this with Java?
Yes, this will eventually be available in all IntelliJ based IDEs.
> How do you to do this with Java?
It involves quite a few native Objective-C calls, there’s no java APIs (yet?)
Thanks, it was that I was thinking. You use Objective-C calls.
I like the Mac but I have difficulty with Objective-C syntax. Perhaps, I should use the Objective-C more.
I have no problem with Java coding but with Objective-C it is another question

– It’s perfectly OK to have a hole in the bottom.

Made my day!
