PhpStorm 6.0.2 EAP build 129.394

This is one more build focused on refinement across all subsystems including a performance tuning pass, before we a) go on short holidays and b) rework some parts of type handling and expose more PHP specific extension points. 3rd party plugin developers are already all busy and have tons of ideas that need our help to become true.

There is also one new thing – new intention: initialise class properties from class constructor arguments. Details on resolved tracker issues.

Download PhpStorm 6.0.2 EAP for your platform and please report any bugs and feature requests to out Issue Tracker. Automatic update via patch is also available from the previous EAP build.

Develop with pleasure!

How long will remain unsolved bug with typecast (http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WI-12152)? This is one of the basic concepts of deffensive programming in php and I cannot believe this bug still exists.

    Hello guys!

I’m sorry, i really like PHPShtorm but this is quite annoying to reinstall PHPShtorm every week, or twice a week.

Could PHPShtorm be updated automaticly by pressing “update”, and not by downloading updates and reinstalling programm?

Thank you for your time :D

    • Charlie says:

Agreed on this one. Automatic incremental updates would be quite nice instead of having to download the entire thing every time.

  3. Michiel says:

After updating to version 6, the go to file is now taking about a second longer to show results than before. Any idea what might be wrong? I have enough memory available.

Could somebody who has access to this blog please fix the link “Early Access Program (EAP)” in the main menu? It still points to the WebIde EAP, not the PhpStorm EAP.
