We’re glad to announce the availability of RubyMine 2.0 Release Candidate 2. Since the previous RC build, we’ve continued our work on improving the performance of RubyMine, fixed several major performance problems and significantly reduced the memory consumption and GC overhead.
Feel free to try the new RC build and file bug reports in the RubyMine issue tracker if you run into any problems.

Any chance to publish a detailed changes log with a list of fixed issues? I just can’t do that that in your issue tracker. Thanks.
It would be wonderful if any of my bug reports since the first 2.0 beta had been addressed at all.
This “Rubymine magically uses old file versions no matter what happens on disk” issue makes it absolutely useless.

An editor must be able to read files off disk, first and foremost. If it can’t do that, everything else is pointless.
