RubyMine 3.1 Beta — better, faster, and still a lot cheaper

So, version 3.1 gets closer to release: we’ve just published RubyMine 3.1 Beta for you to try. Check the previous post to see the main list of changes in this release.

Since previous EAP we’ve made some performance, stability and misc. integration improvements.
Read more in this build release notes.

Download RubyMine 3.1 Beta, try it and let us send us your feedback so we can consider it before the final release.

We know that many of you use Git and also GitHub. And one of the things we enjoyed doing recently is creating a special integration between GitHub and RubyMine. Check out this short screencasts that explains the basic features that will become available soon in RubyMine 3.1. More GitHub specific features are coming in later versions this year.

As a sidenote: you are probably aware of the current special offer for RubyMine, right? It is still actual, but do not wait too long — the offer ends on February 15th.

  1. Hi,

“Applies to all IDEs built on IntelliJ platform” got me thinking – I now own PHPStorm and RubyMine. Is it possible to purchase a bundled IDE that just supports everything you build (for example, I might want to do some Python coding one weekend for fun, would be nice to have that as well, but I don’t necessarily need another IDE).

Didn’t mean to hi-jack the thread – just prompted by the IntelliJ platform statement :-)

  2. Excellent – thanks GJRP.

I missed out on the special offer pricing, any chance it’ll happen again soon?
