“-1″ for the change of price
-2 for the change of price
It’s like we are gonna raise the price, buy/renew it before it does
I wonder what that extra money adds…
Addition of Enoki?

The price has been kept intact for more than 2 years, for a long time actually. RubyMine has a lot to offer and every new version adds value. Also buying now you don’t just get version 5 by the old price. You’ll receive all updates we release during 1 year.
And we’ve decided to announce the new prices in advance cause we just want to treat our customers well and to be honest with you.
Thanks for the new dark theme
Cool, but -10 for prce increase
The price has been kept intact for a long time. So it just the time for changes. Please note, that buying now you don’t just get version 5 by the old price, you’ll receive all updates we release during 1 year.
You’re welcome
Thanks for the feedback.
Who is responsible for new ugly icons?
I agree with Nikolay. 4.5 is very easy to follow and nice looking, and 5.0 is terrible ugly and bold. Please revert previous icons or update current ones. It’s only one reason I’m still using non EAP version.
Tatiana Vasilyeva, is possible to add java autocomplete when using jruby?
Unfortunately not in RubyMine 5, but we’re going to start working on Java code insight for JRuby shortly after release. So it will be available in 5.x around Q2-Q3
-100 for the price. Sorry. wont be upgrading i guess
I have no problem whatsoever with the price increase. MicroSoft VisualStudio 2012 *starts* at $499. Adobe has gone to a monthly membership model for Photoshop starting at $49.99/month. Even TextMate is up from $39 a few years ago to $53. You couldn’t pay me to use Eclipse again. By the way, a 2-year price freeze means they are actually charging less now than they were 2 years ago, adjusting for inflation.
Whenever there is a discount to the upgrade price I always take advantage of it.
By renewing my subscription (after this renewal) I will get 3 full years of free upgrades on Rubymine. I think thats a bargain for the approximately $100 spent over the course of three upgrades. As Shannon mentions, the pricing structure is really very fair when compared to other products in the marketplace.
Will this version include support for Ubuntu’s global menu?
Unfortunately not. There is an issue about that with a long history. You can vote for it.
