PhpStorm & WebStorm 2.0 EAP build 103.57

PhpStorm & WebStorm 2.0 EAP build 103.57 is available. This one is a quick fix for most annoying problems in last EAP, in particular with use statement, Smarty escaping and some XDebug cosmetics.

You can get all the details in the changelog

Please note that ALL of this is work in progress and will undergo series of both technical and cosmetic changes.

Download PhpStorm & WebStorm 2.0 EAP build 103.57 for your platform from project EAP page or wait a bit for a patch-update notification.

    Develop with pleasure!

      ooh new splash screen, purty

    2. David Rees says:

I was going to wait for the patch, but then I heard about the fancy new splash screen :)

    3. Максим says:

Проблема с сетевыми дисками. Шторм начинает их видеть только после второго запуска…

      Сплешка клевая :)

ps. смените капчу, с 5 раза ввел

    4. Thomas Wacker says:

Yeah, seems the designer liked the German beer! :)

Go on for good work. I’m waiting for Final 2.0 :)

    5. FractalizeR says:

Is it already stable enough for development?

    6. Thomas Wacker says:

I’m working with EAP since a couple of week, and the trouble is much lesser than in other IDE’s betas! EAP never freezed or crashed completely. Stable enough? I think yes…

    7. atei says:

FractalizeR, its enough stable for dev.

    8. teejay says:

use it from the first EAP and it was never completely unusable. Little things but no crash or anything. Must say the QA does a great job !!

    9. Hamrath says:

I’m using the EAP at home for my own projects and I’m evaluating it at my job to see, if it fits our needs (oh, it does!).

I’d also say, it’s stable enough for development.

    10. goyote says:

I only develop in EAP, so yeah pretty stable. Plus, keep in mind that a new EAP is released very often, so any annoyances found in one, are usually fixt in the next.

    11. Eugene says:

Could anyone tell me when the patch will be released?

    12. Alexey Gopachenko says:

Update notification explicitly notes that patch is not available for this build.

    13. Eugene says:

No, it doesn’t. It says, that it’s not available at the moment. Same way as it is said in this post: “or wait a bit for a patch-update notification.”

    14. plandem says:

not sure that it’s bug, but who knows.

Well, I wanna move ‘framework’ from ‘content root’ into the ‘External libraries’. I moved and everything looked fine except one thing – when framework is at ‘External libraries’ then ‘Ignore files and folders’ is not using. So i have some troubles with navigating (‘Go to declaration’) coz IDE tries to point to file that was ignored. That’s why i have to use framework as ‘content root’.

    15. Alexey Gopachenko says:

@plandem Please always submit problems to project issue tracker.

Anyway please check next eap when available – we made some changes in the area.
