WebStorm 7 EAP 130.1630; Stylus support

The new EAP build of WebStorm 7, build 130.1630, brings an initial implementation of the highest-voted feature in the WebStorm issue tracker: Stylus support. The implementation is very new, so please don’t be surprised if you encounter red code or some of your favourite CSS features not working; please do report all of the problems to the issue tracker.

For more details, please check out the release notes. The new build is available for download on the EAP page and will soon appear as a patch-based update within the IDE.

Holy *like*! And it functions fantastically too, Webstorm always ahead of the curve.

  2. John Rhodes says:

When you guys say that you have NPM support, it only shows global packages and not the packages for your project, this needs to change.

    • Sergey Simonchik says:

Then you have found a bug. It would be much appreciated, if you could file an issue in our issue tracker.

      • mm2000 says:

You could be polite and use all sources of information. If someone writes here so it’s more convinient.

        • Dmitry Jemerov says:

It may be more convenient but it lacks details and the possibility to request more information from the reporter. Please understand that we have to give higher priority to issues which are reported through proper channels.

        • Sergey Simonchik says:

Surely, I tried all sources of information, but the issue couldn’t be reproduced. Well, I should have informed about that in my previous comment to make thing clear.
It’s OK to post issue details here, but posting it to the issue tracker allows to have convenient discussion.

Will the stylus support be added to PHP Storm?

I’m trying the PHP Storm RC and it doesn’t seem to have this feature.

    Thanks!

It looks like the Stylus support is buggy — height 100px is valid stylus but is marked as invalid. I’ve submitted a comment on an existing ticket. The ticket was submitted two weeks ago and hasn’t been assigned to anyone so I wouldn’t hold my breath.
