JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA 3.0 Wins 2003 JavaWorld Editors’ Choice Award

San Francisco (JavaOne 2003, Booth 1623) – For the second consecutive year, JetBrains, Inc., has been awarded the prestigious JavaWorld Magazine Editors’ Choice Award. JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA 3.0 was named the Best Java IDE, recognizing JetBrains for its continuing global leadership and commitment to developing new Java tools and technologies that developers want and need. An Editors’ Choice Award represents an unbiased third-party evaluation of the nominees by industry experts. The JavaWorld panel of judges consisted of editors and contributors to the highly regarded journal.
JetBrains is demonstrating the powerful features and capabilities of IntelliJ IDEA 3.0 throughout JavaOne 2003 at Booth 1623, where portions of IntelliJ IDEA 4.0, now under development, will be previewed as well. Visitors to the booth will receive fully functional evaluation copies of IntelliJ IDEA 3.0, along with hands-on demonstrations of the IDE’s newest innovations. The evaluation kit includes a detailed 16-page booklet on how developers can benefit from IntelliJ IDEA 3.0 in a variety of environments including Windows, Linux, Unix and Mac OS X.
