Webinar Recording: What’s New in RubyMine 8

Hello everyone,

If you missed our webinar about the new RubyMine 8 features, or you just want to revisit the most interesting parts, watch the recording on JetBrainsTV, our YouTube channel.

The first part of this session talks about Rbenv gemsets support, new debugging features and the most useful editor and UI enhancements. In the second part, Wes Higbee guides you through new Angular 2 and TypeScript features:

We want to thank all the attendees for your time and interesting questions raised during the webinar. We asked you to share your most favorite new features during this webinar, and the leaders turned out to be: a new testing UI and skipping non-project sources during debugging.

We also want to thank Yehuda Miller who not only named his favorite feature – the new color deficiency mode – but also gave us a lot of feedback about the feature that helps us better understand how we can improve it. We’re glad to give Yehuda a free one-year personal subscription to RubyMine!

Develop with pleasure!

  1. Tom Ashworth says:

I tried to follow this webinar but when I got to displaying the page I got an error:

TypeError: Object doesn’t support this property or method
    (in E:/Ruby/RailsInstaller/Ruby2.1.0/lib/ruby/gems/2.1.0/gems/turbolinks-2.5.3/lib/assets/javascripts/turbolinks.js.coffee)

So this does not work. This is a fresh install on Windows.
