WebStorm 2024.1.1 Is Now Available
WebStorm 2024.1.1, the first update for WebStorm 2024.1, is now available! It contains fixes for two major issues that unfortunately made it into the latest release. We are sincerely sorry for this and have tried our best to rectify the situation quickly. These issues have highlighted problems in our own internal communication and QA process that we are addressing. We are taking this seriously and are committed to improving our processes in the future to help avoid such situations from happening again.
You can update to v2024.1.1 by using the Toolbox App, installing it right from the IDE, or downloading it from our website.
Important fixes
WebStorm 2024.1.1 fixes two major issues introduced in the latest version.
- We’ve fixed the UI freezes and performance issue after copying and pasting code in the IDE (WEB-65787).
- We’ve fixed the issue causing phantom errors (WEB-65474).
