Docker is an open platform for building, shipping and running distributed applications. It gives programmers, development teams and operations engineers the common toolbox they need to take advantage of the distributed and networked nature of modern applications.

During this webinar Chris Tankersley, the author of the book Docker for Developers and a PHP Community member, will talk about how to make it easier to build, test, and deploy distributed applications with Docker. You will learn what containers are, how to work with them and how they can help you as a developer.

In the second part of this webinar, Gary Hockin, PhpStorm Developer Advocate, will cover the Docker integration plugin for PhpStorm. You will learn how to add Docker support to existing projects, view logs, manage Docker containers, and debug PHP web applications right from PhpStorm.

This webinar is suitable for developers of different proficiency levels. Please register now.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the webinar. A video recording will be available a few days later.
