The event attracted over 4,000 online attendees! This year, we want to repeat our success and make the experience even better for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, we\u2019re going <strong>hybrid<\/strong>. The whole event will be online, but we\u2019ll also be hosting viewers in Cyprus, so you can join us there to watch the livestream together. We will share some details about that later, so stay tuned!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We are looking for speakers interested in presenting with us!<\/strong> We aim to bring valuable technical gamedev content mixed with speakers\u2019 experiences with specific tools and technologies. We welcome all topics as long as they\u2019re relevant to the gamedev tech community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p align=\"center\">\n\n    <a class=\"jb-download-button\" href=\"https:\/\/sessionize.com\/jetbrains-gamedev-day-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">      \n\n        Submit a talk!\n\n    <\/a>\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ll highlight you as a speaker and any resources you may want to share, such as your blog, open-source projects, online courses, and so on. All accepted speakers will also receive a complimentary 1-year personal subscription to the JetBrains All Products Pack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">GameDev Day at a glance<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Talks are presented live, in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Talks can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes, followed by 5\u201310 minutes of Q&amp;A (optional).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Talks are scheduled according to your time zone, meaning that speakers can pick a time that works for them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Talks are presented live, recorded, published on YouTube, and shared in our newsletters, blogs, and social media.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can show slides, do live demos, or whatever you think works best for your content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All accepted speakers get a complimentary 1-year personal subscription to the JetBrains All Products Pack.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are happy to help with dry runs, talk feedback, and smoothing out demos as part of preparation if you get selected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please make sure you read and adhere to the <a href=\"https:\/\/info.jetbrains.com\/code-of-conduct.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Code of Conduct<\/a> prior to submitting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What type of talks are we looking for?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>We welcome topics that are relevant to the wider gamedev community. We\u2019d appreciate some link to or mention of a JetBrains product, but your talk doesn\u2019t have to be focused on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some topics we\u2019re always interested in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Engine-related \u2013 how to get the most out of your favorite game engine, whether that\u2019s Unreal, Unity, Godot, or any other.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Building your own game engine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Language-related \u2013 new features in C++ or C# that will help with your project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Debugging \u2013 how to quickly figure out why your game isn\u2019t working properly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Architecture \u2013 clean code vs performance requirements, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performance tuning, memory management, concurrency, benchmarking, logging, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Testing \u2013 everything from unit testing to integration testing, and from automated to manual.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open-source libraries that can make a big difference to gamedev.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automated CI\/CD processes for building, testing, publishing, and distributing your game.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leveraging cloud computing in game development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And anything else, as long as it\u2019s interesting to our gamedev attendees!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To give you an idea, <a href=\"https:\/\/pages.jetbrains.com\/dotnet-days-2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here are some talks<\/a> from 2022 that were a hit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><em>Useful Game Developer Habits<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Making Plugins for Game Engines as a Business<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Unreal Engine Game Optimization<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Unity Packages<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Making UIs With C++ in Unreal Engine<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>More information is available on our <a href=\"https:\/\/sessionize.com\/jetbrains-gamedev-day-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Call for Speakers<\/a> page.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not sure if your talk idea is a good fit?
