This new functionality automatically reorders the files whenever the changes in your project are saved. To enable this feature, open the three dots menu in the <em>Project <\/em>view and then select<em> Tree Appearance | Sort by Modification Time<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.jetbrains.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/rngofs28A5yL93HUPC44a8CYSabERNkettbzBWkFQ9zjGBktVZs8uElBmhIbl7gpmSGPG-Esu-y42croSDTUzeTJMVM4Ia1_Bvhcrj1vbuE3UYL8EIeZZ2WD0erOVT6GbDFdydjKess_XCsfbo8PPb0.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pinned run configurations in the <em>Run<\/em> widget<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To make managing multiple run configurations easier, we\u2019ve implemented the option to pin preferred configurations in the <em>Run<\/em> widget. To add a run configuration to the <em>Pinned<\/em> section, open the three dots menu next to its name and select <em>Pin<\/em>. If you have multiple pinned configurations, you can easily rearrange them by dragging and dropping within the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.jetbrains.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/QBRkkSSrTNkeERdkjHEnIxMsKZctlVWnVAnatWtyhzOOLCGjZwfXUgZiZbvC-9xvLCNNq6yEm0iPJhRv3atOb1cYlIQjmNKGi4KjDpLGHY0TLA1kW2E3Xcr6oyMCXlQvV8iKGz1QKbId4GQI55keXYs.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Kafka plugin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/plugins.jetbrains.com\/plugin\/21704-kafka\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new Kafka plugin<\/a> lets you monitor your Kafka event streaming processes.
