PhpStorm 8 EAP 138.38

PhpStorm 8 EAP 138.38 is available for download.

From the PHP side, this build features:

  • Significant PHP lib stubs corrections, please invalidate caches and report regressions
  • Offer to create @var declaration for unknown variable in foreach statement
  • New intention: replace quotes with NOWDOC/HEREDOC
  • and many other bug fixes and improvements (see full list in our issue tracker)…

IntelliJ platform and web changes are also included.

Download PhpStorm 8 EAP build 138.38 for your platform from project EAP page and please report any bugs and feature request to our Issue Tracker.

Patch-update will be available in an hour from the previous PhpStorm 8 EAP build (136.1768).

*Update* Due to critical issues in PhpStorm 8 EAP build 138.38 such as broken Generate action and incorrect Vagrant plugin we’ve reverted the EAP download page to the previous version with 136.1768 build available. We are sorry for inconvenience, please stay tuned, a new EAP build is coming next week.

    I lost the ability to generate methods. I added a method to an interface, and I can no longer generate it using the context menu nor the Code menu option.

    how does this exactly work? I haven’t noticed any changes from previous release.

    you should probably change the link text of the link to the download page and prepend the update notice before the post content and and not append it.
