PhpStorm & WebStorm 2.0 EAP build 98.458

PhpStorm & WebStorm 2.0 EAP build 98.458 is available. This is one more bug fix build, we’re trying to stabilize current features before rolling out lots of new stuff. Anyway, most notable are:

  • PHP 5.3 namespaces support significantly improved, including proper member, function and class resolution
  • JavaScript libraries management enhanced: automatic downloads, smarter completion and compressed (minified) code support. Read more in JavaScript Libraries
  • Run Inspection by name action added, see details in How to Run a Single Inspection in IDEA X

Complete changelog

Please note that ALL of this is work in progress and will undergo series of both technical and cosmetic changes.

Download PhpStorm & WebStorm 2.0 EAP build 98.458 for your platform from project EAP page or wait for an update/patch available notification (usually rolled out in a couple of days later).

Develop with pleasure!

@YoYurec Sorry, Looks like provider’s content distribution network was partially out of sync. Please wait a bit while they working on it and try again.

  3. erbione says:

Why the most of new features and fixes concentrates in php? What about HTML and CSS support for webstorm? There is a many issues in tracker about HTML/HTML5 and CSS.

  4. opengeek says:

It appears all the downloads for the EAP are broken. Is anyone looking into this?

  5. Eugene Toporov says:

opengeek: there was a problem on our CDN. Fixed now.
    Thanks for noticing!

  6. Alexey Gopachenko says:

@erbione because HTML and CSS support in IDE is quite mature – and we already added HTML5 support and PHP is “youngest” part of ide. Also release notes focus is shifted to PHP changes – we rarely mention features and almost never the fixes to other stuff except of most significant ones (i.e ZenCoding, HTML5 and recent JS library support)
