If i’ll install EAP now, stable update will be as patch update or i’ll have to install it from installer?

    • Mikhail Vink

Patch-update for the previous EAP build will be available in an hour as stated in the end of the blog post. Just wait a bit and check that you have “updates” option enabled.

      Thank you!

I think he wanted to know if there will be some patch between EAP version and stable release (PHPStorm 7).

        • Mikhail Vink

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood. There is no patch between stable release and EAP version (and vice versa) – only patch for minor updates EAP->EAP, Stable->Stable.

          • Jakub S.

Yep, that’s what i wanted to know :)

What are the new features of this EAP? I just can find bugfixes. Thank you a lot for this great IDE.

      Hi Adrian,

We just have to scan through the tracker log, they are mostly bugfixes. If you add the #feature to the search query then you can filter by the features, just 3 of them in this case.

      So instead of :
      #resolved #{EAP 131.332} order by: votes

      You would type:
      #resolved #feature #{EAP 131.332} order by: votes

      http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/WI?q=%23resolved+%23feature+%23%7BEAP+131.332%7D+order+by%3A+votes

      • Arrian Grund

Ah, okay. I see, thank you for the explanation.

    • Mikhail Vink

From the feature side: find usages of an interface, ‘undefined method’ suppression by ‘method_exists’ (WI-13873), a bunch of Move Statement refactoring changes. But in general – yes, there are mostly bug fixes – before the release we are focused on bug fixes and performance improvements.

Will SVN 1.8 support make it in the PHPStorm 7 release? Or will this be completed in a later stage?

        • Mikhail Vink

No, unfortunately, we won’t be able to finish SVN 1.8 by PhpStorm 7.0 release, but after 7.0 we’ll have minor updates (they are quite often btw) and we hope to get it working in 7.0.x update.

            Still waiting for 1.8 support…
Any ideas for a release date?

          • Mikhail Vink

PhpStorm 7.1 has been released today
