I still get only the full update in Storm.

  2. Nurettin Bacanak says:

Is there a way to opt-out from EAP? I’ve used PhpStorm 6.0 EAP after that I upgraded to stable (released) 7.0 however I continuously receive EAP upgrade notices from PHPStorm. I’d like to opt-out from EAP notices however continue to receive mainstream/stable releases. Is it possible?

  3. Kirill says:

    Thanks for your work guys!
It’s all great, but one things that I can’t understand: you are fixing normal bugs created month ago, but didn’t fix criticals created 3 months ago. Why?

    • Mikhail Vink says:

These are completely different subsystems and fix estimates depend a lot on the current tasks and priorities of specific developers or entire subsystems/products.

  4. Max says:

Ok, so if “Patch-update will be available in an hour.” – where i can downlod it?

    • Mikhail Vink says:

It can be downloaded right from the IDE, just go to Check for Updates. This is a patch update from the previous 7.0.1 EAP btw.

  5. Vasa says:

When will v7.0.1 receive an auto update without downloading the whole bundle?

    • Mikhail Vink says:

A stable one? This one is a EAP version, not a stable one yet – and the patch update is available from the previous 7.0.1 EAP. When stable update is available, you’ll get a notification in the IDE.

  6. karfau says:

When downloading and installing this, it isn’t an EAP-build, its the full 7.0.1-version.
thats why there will be no path update from EAP.
I think this was published in the wrong release channel.

    • Mikhail Vink says:

No, this is EAP build (see file name, for example, PhpStorm-EAP-131.487, Stable version would be something like PhpStorm-7.0.1) – so this one has been published to the right update channel and this is EAP. So there is a patch-update from the previous 7.0.1 EAP. The difference with “major version” EAPs is that you need to have a license key entered in the IDE, so it doesn’t come with one more EAP evaluation license every build.
