Today we’ve released PyCharm 1.0.1, our first bugfix update that fixes the most critical issues encountered by our users. The highlights are:
- Fixed problem preventing inspection of some objects in the debugger;
- Fixed Shift-click text selection in the editor;
- Much faster skeleton generation on first run, particularly under MacOS X.
You can download the new build from the PyCharm home page, and find the complete list of changes in the release notes.
And in the meanwhile, we’re already working hard on a next feature release of PyCharm, version 1.1. The roadmap for PyCharm 1.1 is already available, and the Early Access Preview is going to start quite soon.
Update to the latest version and stay tuned for more news soon!

Unfortunately, the stub builder hasn’t changed
Roadmap looks great. It has features I either suggested or really have meant to.
* Console in debugger
* Conditional breakpoints support
* Exception breakpoints support
* Possibility to open files in a running PyCharm instance from the command line
Hopefully EAPs will follow soon, so that I can appreciate fixed stub builder
