The RC process for RubyMine 2.0.2 is taking longer than we had expected – but the team is not sitting still! The new Release Candidate build of RubyMine includes several major improvements:
- Support for RVM gemsets;
- Support for bundler 0.9;
- Bundled pre-compiled ruby-debug gem for Windows users of Ruby 1.8;
- New evaluation license scheme (a 30-day evaluation license is now built-in and you no longer need to fill a form on the Web site to get an evaluation license key).
In addition to that, there’s the usual bunch of small bugfixes, which are detailed in the release notes.
You can download RubyMine 2.0.2 RC2 from the EAP page. And if you run into any problems, please report them in the forums and the issue tracker, so that we would be able to fix them before the final 2.0.2 release.
