IntelliJ IDEA 10.0.2 update was released this week which means the platform is stable now. More than 200 issues was resolved in the platform code between branches 97 (RubyMine 3.0) and 103 (RubyMine 3.1). Many of the those related to HTML and JavaScript editing, different VCS integrations, etc., which is critical for RubyMine too.

In Ruby part we’ve only made some stabilization changes and minor fixes since the Beta. RubyMine 3.1 is quite ready for the release and we would like to get your feedback before shooting the final build.

Check this build release notes and download the RC.

PS. Be warned! Only 5 days left until our special offer ends.

This is an amazing release guys. I have 1 concern, and that is that I can’t seem to edit coffeescript files after installing the coffee plugin. I can load them, and get the syntax highlighting, but the file itself is read only.

Love all the new changes though. A bargain at the full price I paid awhile ago

    Thank you, Jeff!
I’ve just installed CoffeeBrew (that is continuation of CoffeeScript) plugin and it works fine for me. You can send your idea.log to me. so I can check if there are some incompatibilities

Debugging does not work with the gem ruby-debug-ide-0.4.17.beta2 (distributed with RC). It did work fine with ruby-debug-ide-0.4.17.beta (distributed with Beta). This is a showstopper, I hope that it gets fixed soon! Here is some hopefully helpful information:
