RubyMine 2016.3.1 EAP is Open
Hi everyone,
It’s been only a week since we announced RubyMine 2016.3, but we’re already back on track with RubyMine 2016.3.1 EAP.
This update brings important bug fixes, both long-awaited and those discovered in the newest 2016.3 release. Here are the highlights:
- The problem with creating Gem projects on Windows has been fixed. The gem project creation wizard has been updated with additional options, and now has a unified design for all operating systems.
- The recently announced support for MiniTest::Spec contained a bug: RubyMine 2016.3 couldn’t run all tests from the spec folder. It is fixed in this EAP.
- Another fixed issue targets our Windows users. You don’t have to install jre64 anymore to run RubyMine x64. The launcher will work both with JRE and JDK.
As usually, see the release notes for the full list of changes.
The EAP build is now available for downloading from this page.
