CLion 2024.1 Release Candidate
The next major CLion release is on its way, and the release candidate for v2024.1 is already available!
To install CLion 2024.1 RC (build 241.14494.229), download it from our website, update via the Toolbox App, or use this snap package (for Ubuntu). You need an active subscription or a trial license to use CLion 2024.1 RC.
Here are the highlights:
- The bundled GDB once again works on CPUs without LZCNT support (report).
- For CLion Nova:
- The Clangd daemon has been restored for non-project files.
- The language engine no longer crashes during type presentation (CPP-38078).
- The endless Loading projects… problem in the protobuf project has been fixed.
- The ability to run/debug single files has been restored.
