Time: 4:00 pm UTC (6:00 pm CET / 12:00 pm ET).

In this demo session, we’ll show you how to write SQL queries and work with databases in JetBrains IDEs. We’ll explore a range of use cases for embedded database functionality, from simple queries to more advanced tasks.

We’ll cover:

  • Creating simple queries: using various types of code completion and code snippets, expanding wildcards, and working with subqueries.
  • Using the data editor: editable result sets, bulk submit and multiple edit functionality, transposing data, and comparing data.
  • Importing and exporting data: importing from CSV files, exporting to JSON or UPDATES and INSERTS, and exporting to other databases.
  • Navigation: searching for database objects, data, SQL code, files, settings, and more.
  • JetBrains AI: text-to-SQL, Fix with AI, and schema-aware AI chat
  • Other features: user parameters, the diff tool, and query history.

You will have a chance to ask questions, and a recording of the livestream will be posted to our JetBrains For Data YouTube channel after the event.

Register now to receive notifications so you don’t miss the chance to take part.
