Workspace Backups in Git Repositories, the Ability to Share Reports With Preselected Values, Mobile Layout for Reports, and More in Datalore 2025.5
Datalore 2025.5 is out with multiple new features and improvements, including a new Git integration for workspace backups, the ability to share reports with preselected values in dropdowns, date pickers, and other inputs, and support for new LLMs in AI Assistant.
These updates are already available for Datalore Cloud users, and Datalore On-Premises users can get them by updating their Datalore instance.
Ability to export workspaces to Git repositories
Datalore now allows you to export workspaces to GitHub, GitLab, and other Git providers. This means you can configure workspace backups, ensuring notebooks and files are stored securely and making it easy to track and audit changes over time.
You can commit changed notebooks or files at any time from Other | Git backup in the workspace settings or commit new notebook versions when creating a history checkpoint. Read more

Reports with preselected values
Interactive reports are a popular Datalore feature, but text inputs, dropdowns, and date pickers have required additional effort from report viewers, as they had to manually change the values of all the controls.
Starting with the 2025.5 release, you can share interactive reports with the values you’ve selected or entered. The recipients will open the reports with the same values already applied and won’t need to re-enter anything. They will see the same results, too. Read more
Mobile layout
Reports now support a mobile layout, making them equally convenient to use from any device.
AI models
Datalore Cloud now features a newer model of AI Assistant. In Datalore On-Premises, instance admins can select the default model that best suits their company’s needs.
