Please let it fix PHP7, docblocks with scalar types and importing nonexistent ‘string’ classes.

and it doesn’t look like it does

      • Maxim Kolmakov

We’re going to publish a 10.0.2 EAP with some fixes from PHP side soon so please stay tuned.

I’m on 10.0, but there is no patch (at least for now). Notification has 3 buttons (Ignore, Remind later, Relase notes / Download). The one for patch update is not available.

    • Maxim Kolmakov

Sorry it was a temporal glitch. Could you please check Help->Check for update?

      • http://endijs.com Endijs Lisovskis

        It’s fine now. Thanks!

  • Chris

There’s no patch for me either (PhpStorm 10.0.0). Same result when clicking the popup balloon and when manually going to “Check for Update…”.

    • Maxim Kolmakov

Sorry it was a temporal glitch. Could you please try Help->Check for update?

      • Chris

Yeah, it works now. Thanks! :)

  • NiPh

And no patch for me :( Linux Ubuntu 14.04 64x PhpStorm 10.0.0, Personal license.

  • James Moey

The version seems incorrect. It is older version than what I have installed. I got version 143.434

    • Maxim Kolmakov

The build number is less since the release was published from a different stable branch which has fixed version for all builds – 143.38*.

Does this fix the BSOD’s I keep getting on Win10 ever since upgrading to version 10? Literally just recovered from one now too.

    • Maxim Kolmakov

I doubt that update of PhpStorm can fix BSOD since it’s working in Java Virtual Machine and doesn’t access any parts of OS that may causes BSOD directly. So please check your RAM and Hard Drive to make sure they are fine.

      • http://www.thatancientfaith.uk Luke Wilson

Hmm good point. I’ll have to look into it more.

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html best free tool to find the cause of a BSOD and googling the error-code.

If it happens with PHPStorm only it may be related to the video driver.

Waiting for the Patch-update from version 10.0

    • Maxim Kolmakov

Sorry it was a temporal glitch. Could you please check now Help->Check for update?

      • William Fernandes

On ubuntu 15.10, whenever I do Update and Restart, PhPStorm just restarts without applying the patch. Is there any way to do this manually without having to reinstall and reconfigure all plugins by downloading a new build?

    • nihilnovi

Fixed it, turns out the phpstorm.sh file from 9 is not compatible with the updated process in phpstorm.sh for phpstorm 10. Since I have a custom phpstorm.sh with some fontfixes since they are not yet a part of phpstorm itself, there is a need to manually modify the .sh file in order to get minor updates working.

      • Josh Taylor

Do you mind sharing what font fixes you are using? My fonts look fine (and have done for a few versions now which is great).

        • nihilnovi

Sure thing. I’m using a custom JDK from https://github.com/tuxjdk/tuxjdk and I’ve removed all the JDK code in the phpstorm.sh file to only use tuxjdk.

I also use Infiniality to have proper UI fonts since tuxjdk only fixes the font that are rendered in opened files in phpstorm.
The creator of Infinality iirc is contributing to FreeType now so hopefully all these issue will be fixed automatically in due time when it comes to the UI in phpstorm.

Without these fixes fonts do not render properly, not even close, this is a issue in Swing which phpstorm uses. In the end , nobody is taking responsibility so the end user suffers as a result. I have about 6 different builds of Java locally just for phpstorm and fonts looks different with every single one of them and they only render to a acceptable level using tuxjdk.

      • Steve

What was the modification that you had to make?

    • kassner

This happens for me with Debian Jessie, untouched phpstorm.sh. Any clue?

  • Anna Huber

I’m not able to install the patch:

    Temp. directory: C:UsersbernhardAppDataLocalTemp
    java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:UsersbernhardAppDataLocalTempidea.updater.files.tmp.0temp.tmp.4

The problem is that Windows Defender is blocking the file temp.tmp.4.

I’m on Win 10 latest incl. latest updates.

    Please fix it – Thanks!

    • Maxim Kolmakov

Could you please try to update the definition for your Defender?

      • Anna Huber

No updates available, I’m on the latest version of the definitions.

        • Maxim Kolmakov

Does Windows Defender show the reason of block?
