EduTools 2021.2 Critical Bug-Fix Update

Today we are releasing EduTools 2021.2, the bug-fix update for EduTools 2021.1. Thanks to the feedback our community provided to us, we promptly discovered that the 2021.1 version was affected by a critical issue with corrupted Java run configurations: EDU-4052.

We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this issue has caused. Our development team worked hard to solve the problem as quickly as possible, and the fix has already been implemented with the latest version of the EduTools plugin – v.2021.2. The affected Java run configurations will be restored once your plugin is updated. Please note, however, that any Codeforces run configurations created with EduTools 2021.1 will need to be recreated.

You can install or update the plugin to the latest version right from the Settings (Preferences for macOS) | Plugins in IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, WebStorm, Android Studio, CLion, or GoLand.

IntelliJ IDEA Edu and PyCharm Edu 2020.3.2

We’ve also released the 2020.3.2 versions of PyCharm Edu and IntelliJ IDEA Edu, which include this latest fix introduced in EduTools 2021.2. To download the latest version of PyCharm Edu and IntelliJ IDEA Edu, use our website or the Toolbox App. You can also use a snap package if you are using Ubuntu.
