JetBrains Launches Online Magazine for Global Developer Community
JetBrains onBoard e-zine to feature original articles by developers as part of expanded developer community outreach program
November 23, 2004
Prague, Czech Republic, November 23, 2004 – JetBrains™, Inc., creators of intelligent application development tools, today announced the launch of JetBrains onBoard, a monthly e-zine dedicated to the global developer community and to all users of the company’s software products. The new publication will feature articles from JetBrains team members and community members about products and leading-edge technology initiatives both at JetBrains and within the software development market overall. JetBrains onBoard is complemented by JetBlog, a new weblog with a focus on company and product news.
“Our very active developer community has always guided how our software evolves,” said Eugene Belyaev, JetBrains president and chief technology officer. “Our software attracts those who share our passion for innovation and smart software development techniques, so it makes sense to establish a developer resource where we can all trade our knowledge and insights. JetBrains onBoard will become part of an open channel where all of us can share ideas, ask and answer questions, and comment on matters of interest to developers.”
The premiere issue of JetBrains onBoard, now available online at http://www.onboard.jetbrains.com, features the following articles:
- Language Oriented Programming: The Next Programming Paradigm, by Serge Dmitriev, JetBrains CO.
- The code generation approach taken in Fabrique, the upcoming JetBrains Java framework, by Kirill Kalishev, Senior Software Developer, JetBrains
- IntelliJ IDEA: Structural Search and Replace – What, Why and How-to, by Maxim Mossienko, Senior Software Developer, JetBrains
- Extending Omea with New Resource Types, by Dmitry Jemerov, team lead, Omea product family
