Kotlin 마스코트 관련 소식 잠시 중단됨

새로운 Kotlin 마스코트가 소개된 후 상당한 시간이 지났습니다. 그동안 Kotlin 팀은 주의 깊게 커뮤니티의 피드백을 모니터링했습니다. 많은 분들이 이 마스코트를 좋아해 주셨지만, 마스코트에 대한 비판과 반대의 소리도 있었습니다.

현재의 마스코트 사용을 중단해 주시길 부탁드립니다.

모두에게 사랑받는 마스코트를 제작하는 건 불가능할지라도 마스코트는 커뮤니티를 대표하는 것이어야 합니다. 또한 커뮤니티의 모든 구성원이 그렇게 느끼실 수 있기를 바랍니다. 따라서 잠시 마스코트 사용을 중단하고 사용자의 우려 사항 및 개선을 위한 제안 사항을 살펴보려 합니다. 진행 상황을 곧 전해드리겠습니다!

Kotlin이 등장한 지 10년이 되었지만, 항상 커다란 한 가지를 놓치고 있는 것 같았습니다 – 그것은 바로 마스코트였습니다. 이제 이 상황을 바꿀때가 되었습니다. 새로운 Kotlin의 마스코트를 만나보세요!  

이 마스코트는 아직 이름이 없습니다. 이 이름을 지을 수 있도록 여러분의 아이디어를 제안해 주세요. 이름은 다음의 단계를 거쳐 정해질 것입니다: 먼저 제안된 모든 이름을 수집한 다음 가장 자주 언급되는 이름과 가장 마음에 든 이름을 선택할 것입니다. 그리고 투표를 통해 마스코트 이름을 최종적으로 결정할 예정입니다.

Kotlin のマスコットが登場！

公開されてから 10 年が経つ Kotlin ですが、いつも何か大事なものが足りないと感じていました。それはマスコットでした。 ようやくその状況を変えるときが来ました。 新しい Kotlin マスコットをご紹介します！

このマスコットにはまだ名前がありません。皆さんに提案していただきたいと思います。 名前の決定は 2 段階で行われる予定です。まずは、名前のアイデアを募集します。次に、その中から一番メンションされたものと私たちが最も気に入ったものを選び、最終的な名前を決定するための投票を行いたいと考えています。

Kotlin gibt es schon seit zehn Jahren, aber wir hatten immer das Gefühl, das der Sprache etwas Wichtiges fehlt – ein Maskottchen. Das wollen wir jetzt ändern. Sagen Sie dem neuen Kotlin-Maskottchen Hallo!  

Es hat noch keinen Namen, deshalb würden wir uns freuen, wenn Sie uns Vorschläge für einen Namen machen könnten. Die Namensgebung erfolgt in mehreren Schritten: Zuerst sammeln wir alle Namensvorschläge, dann wählen wir die Namen aus, die am häufigsten genannt wurden oder uns am besten gefallen, und in einer Endabstimmung wird schließlich der endgültige Name gewählt.

Introducing the Kotlin Mascot!

⏸️ How’s the Kotlin mascot doing? Paused

It’s been a while since we introduced the new Kotlin mascot, and we’ve been carefully monitoring the feedback. Although many of you have expressed enthusiasm for the mascot, some have also voiced criticism and disapproval. 

We kindly ask you to refrain from using the mascot in its current form.

Although it might not be possible to create something that everyone loves, this mascot should be representative of the community and we want all of you to feel like it is. We’re going to take a step back and address all of the concerns and suggestions for improvement that we’ve received. We’ll be in touch soon!

Kotlin has been around for ten years, but there was always one big thing that we felt was missing – a mascot. Now we want to change that. Meet the new Kotlin mascot!  

There will be a couple of steps in this decision-making process: first, we will gather all the name ideas, then we will pick the most frequently mentioned names and the ones we like the most, and then we will put the names to a vote to choose the final one.

⏸️Kotlin 吉祥物的进展如何？ 已暂停

我们推出新的 Kotlin 吉祥物已经有一段时间了，我们也一直在仔细监测反馈。 尽管你们中的许多人表达了对吉祥物的热情，但也有人表达了批评和反对。

我们恳请您不要使用当前形式的吉祥物。

虽然可能无法创造出一个人人都喜欢的设计，但这个吉祥物应该代表社区，我们希望所有人都喜欢它。我们将退一步，解决我们收到的所有顾虑和改进建议。 我们将很快与大家联系！
