This podcast hosted by Kelly Paredes and Sean Tibor is about their adventures teaching middle school computer science, solving problems, handling failure, working through frustration, and enjoying success, all through the lens of the Python programming language.

Meet your presenter

valyaValentina Kiryushkina

Valentina Kiryushkina made her start in JetBrains as an intern at Educational Products and PyCharm teams, and has now worked in the company as a software developer for six years.

Now she’s concentrating on educational tasks, implementing courses and storage infrastructure, and working on the UI. She likes learning and enjoys languages, the human ones.

Kelly ParedesKelly Paredes

Kelly Paredes has taught all over the world and specializes in curriculum design and development.

She currently teaches sixth and seventh-grade computer science at Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is her third year using Python.



Sean TiborSean Tibor

Sean Tibor has worked in marketing and technical management roles selling toothpaste and toothbrushes, designing chemical inventory and TV media databases, enrolling online nursing students, and founding a digital marketing agency.

This is his third year teaching Python to seventh and eighth-grade students at Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
