The current phpstorm 9 EAP in my case is not more usuable in OSX yosemite (with or without custom jdk). even when processor laod is close to zero the movements of the cursor in the editor windows is very slow, the cursor is jumping, far a away from moving smooth…. hey guys, come on, how shall we use this? Thanks a lot.

Could you please explain where can I find this file on my Linux system?

Thanks for sharing. Scrolling and cursor experience are optimal now like my experiences with phpstorm 8.

        Glad to hear!

For me, the version with the bundled JDK is unusable, it has a delay of ~500ms between keystrokes, not to mention every other action.

Regular version on jdk 1.6 seems to be the same as the stable version, performance-wise.

Same here, but what about 1.8?

It works fine, but I hate post-1.6 java font rendering (thin and unreadable), so I use 1.6.

It is thin, yes. On a retina display it looks great in my opinion, but is a question of personal preferences.

      Amazing!
Just installed JDK 1.8 and modfied version number in plist file made my IDE lightning fast.
Maybe, some plugins, like the Atlassian Connector, stops working.

I have serious performance issues with this version (141.1408) in general

PhpStorm has lost my settings several times now. Also, Ctrl+Shift+N just stops working after awhile.

Also, Ctrl+Shift+F searching is not finding things when I can clearly see them on the screen. Ctrl+F searching the specific file does find them.

    When phpstorm 9 will release?

PhpStorm 9 is great! The only thing I’m currently running into is triple curly brace support for blade (when escaping output). PhpStorms doesn’t seem to recognise that, but maybe I’m just missing a setting? I’m using the .blade.php extension for all blade views. Any idea how to fix that?
