Meet the PhpStorm Team at PHP Conferences on Summer 2016
The PhpStorm team is getting ready for the summer round of conferences, and we’re eager to meet you there! We’ll be visiting Word4Camp Israel (June 9), PHP South Coast (June 11), Dutch PHP Conference (June 23-25), Laracon EU (August 23-24), and Web Summer Camp (August 31 – September 3).
Press For Word, June 9 (Tel Aviv, Israel)
The first and biggest WordPress Conference in Israel. Together with the leading WordPress experts in Israel, participants can learn about the innovations in the industry, participate in panels and learning groups, and network with hundreds of those who live and breathe WordPress.
Members of our PhpStorm team will be happy to meet you at our booth! We will show you PhpStorm demos, answer your questions, share information about future releases, and enjoy the conference together with you! We will also show how to play with yo-yos and will hold a free license raffle.
PHP South Coast, June 11 (Portsmouth, UK)
PHP South Coast is a community conference intended for networking and collaboration in the developer community. The PHP South Coast 2016 conference will take place on 11th June 2016 at “Action Stations”, a venue built inside Boathouse No 6 in the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The venue includes a fantastic 275-seat tiered auditorium with excellent facilities.
You won’t find our booth there, but you can catch up with our Developer Advocate, Gary Hockin, who became one of the organizers of the event.
DPC, June 23-25 (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
Ibuildings is proud to organize the tenth Dutch PHP Conference on June 24 and 25, plus a pre-conference tutorial day on June 23. Both programs will be completely in English so the only Dutch thing about it is the location. Keywords for these days: Know-how, Technology, Best Practices, Networking, and Tips & Tricks.
The target audience for this conference are PHP developers of all levels, software architects and even some managers. Beginners will find many talks aimed at helping them become better developers, while more experienced developers will come away inspired to do even better and with knowledge of the latest tools and methodologies.
The PhpStorm team will be happy to meet you at our booth! We will show you PhpStorm demos, answer your questions, share information about future releases, and enjoy the conference together with you! We will also show how to play with yo-yos and will hold a free license raffle.
JetBrains team: Alexey Gopachenko (Project Lead), Gary Hockin (Developer Advocate).
Laracon EU, August 23-24 (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
Laracon EU is an annual gathering of web developers focused on building more sophisticated applications using the Laravel PHP web-application development framework.
The Laravel PHP framework is a leading PHP framework—the most popular PHP project on GitHub, and boasts a Twitter following of over 40,000 developers. This year over 500 developers are expected to attend.
Again, we won’t have a booth at the event, but we will be among the attendees on the floor and happy to talk to anyone interested.
Web Summer Camp, August 31 – September 3 (Rovinj, Croatia)
Web Summer Camp is a natural continuation of PHP Summer Camp that’s been delivering cutting-edge experience through hands-on workshops since 2014.
This year’s workshops, spread over 3 days, will also be dedicated to PHP and its frameworks, especially Symfony, with topics on the newest developments in the field, providing useful examples and first-hand experience.
Our Developer Advocate, Gary Hockin, will visit the event and help you get the best out of your PHP and PhpStorm experience during the workshops.
See you soon!
