PyCharm 1.2.1 released

The final release of PyCharm 1.2.1 is now available for download. This is a recommended upgrade for all users of PyCharm. The complete list of fixes is included in the release notes.

And in the meantime, the team is hard at work on PyCharm 1.5, and we’re planning to open the EAP for the new version in the coming weeks.

  1. Were there any changes in the skeleton generator (do I have to re-generate the skeletons or not)?

  2. Vj says:

Will the 1.5 EAP allow me to browse Python/Django reference API docs from within the IDE – that would be an excellent feature.

  3. Angelo Dini says:

It would be nice to include a projects overview panel like in eclipse where you can open/close projects instead of the “Recent projects”

  4. yole says:

PyCharm 1.5 will allow you to open Python/Django reference docs for the element under the caret in your web browser.

  5. Vj says:

That docu feature will be a big plus.

Any enhancements being planned to the Py / Dj consoles?

In IDLE when I need to edit a function, its got a nice feature where one can edit the whole function, not just scroll thru the history line by line… i.e. the entire (say 3 lines) function becomes one history line.
