PyCharm 2017.1.1 RC out now

We’ve been fixing a lot of bugs, and are getting closer to the 2017.1.1 release. If you’d like to try this version before we release it, you can get it now from our confluence page.

Some of the things we’ve improved:

  • The font rendering problem has been resolved
  • Many issues in the debugger, code inspections, and test runners have been fixed
  • Automatic deployment for new remote projects is now configured correctly
  • Pyramid improvements
  • Remote Jupyter notebooks tweaks

    After upgrading to 2017.1.1 RC, I have a grey bar at the top of my editor. Any idea what that could be?

    Really, you do not fix PY-22734 (Regression: PEP484 type hinting result is cached and did not updates after the code changes), though you consider it a major bug? For users who really use type hinting, it means invalidating the cache, restarting python and reindexing multiple times per hour :-(

    Too bad the whole IDE is still literally unusable due to abnormally high CPU usage that started with 2017.1 release. (reported in PY-23320)
