PhpStorm & WebStorm 2.0 EAP build 98.21

Alexey Gopachenko

PhpStorm & WebStorm 2.0 EAP build 98.21 is available. Again, this is bugfix-only build, that covers critical parser and performance bugs. All EAP users are urged to update.

  • PHP editor typing problems introduced in previous EAP are fixed
  • PHPDOC presentation and generation improved
  • PHP type inference for complex cases improved

Complete changelog

Please note that ALL of this is work in progress and will undergo series of both technical and cosmetic changes during next months.

Note: We still have some performance problems with large PHP files with lots of automatic injections or lots of error markers.

Download PhpStorm & WebStorm 2.0 EAP build 98.21 for your platform from project EAP page.

Develop with pleasure!

When will i get my namespace support, got a dam license but can’t use it until the namespace support is implemented….

How can you not use it without namespace support? PhpStorm gets confused about classes with the same name but in another namespace. And yes, that’s annoying, but it’s workable though.

Any tips on using PhpStorm with major PHP frameworks like CakePHP, Lithium, or Zend?

    A few comments:
    – when I click somewhere in the text it does not find the end of line, that was not this way before,
    – it would be useful if there was an opportunity to duplicate files somewhere in the Edit menu
    – if I use factory classes, the IDE can’t find the methods and the properties of the created classes. Is it difficult to fix it and we’re better off getting to used to it?
Aside from that it’s a great program.

that EAP hangs sometime and i can’t edit line. But, for example, line up above or below is editable. it happens tooooo often and i have to edit file at text editor in such cases 🙁
