October 28, 2011Is it worth upgrading? I’m using licensed PhpStorm 2.1.5 and it’s very stable. Is 3.0 EAP usable for normal work?

October 28, 2011The UI changes are really nice, however CPU usage is very high (90-100%) even on small HTML files.
Ubuntu 11.10, 64-bit. Sun Java 7 JVM.

October 30, 2011I downloaded the new update for PhpStorm EAP and now it is every 5 minutes overhaul hangs. I tried to reinstall – did not help.

November 1, 2011The problem with this IDE keeps being the UI and the performance.
If the UI was fully customizable, pleasant thinks like these could come up: https://github.com/buymeasoda/soda-theme

November 1, 2011Is there a way to get the platform changelog in youtrack? I tried just “fixed in 110.187”, but they are not all listed that way.
David Rees says:
November 1, 2011Lot’s of JavaScript fixes in this one, great to see it getting some love in comparison to PHP :). Hopefully we can get all the Node guys using WS which will really help push the JS envelope. WS is already better than anything else out there at working around JS’s lack of consistency around module/type structure, but it could be so much better…
Kastner Mario says:
November 15, 2011Will PHPStorm 3.0 provide support for PHP 5.4? If not, PLEASE support it ’cause PHP 5.4 will bring Traits and many other cool and useable things …
Thank you!
