IntelliJ IDEA 2018.1 RC2 is here!
The release is getting really close now, and today we’ve published IntelliJ IDEA 2018.1 RC2! You can download it here. Please note that to use the Release Candidate, you need an active subscription to IntelliJ IDEA 2018.1 Ultimate (alternatively, you can use a trial license).
This week we were focused on fixing and polishing the last small issues:
- Partial Commit: the “Git | Revert” action doesn’t revert changes, that are excluded by checkboxes anymore: IDEA-188501.
- Partial Commit: Pre-commit changes by “Update Copyright” hook will not be committed when committing a non-active changelist: IDEA-188319.
- Important fix for tree implementation for the project and package view: IDEA-188699
You can take a look at all latest changes in release notes.
Take IntelliJ IDEA 2018.1 RC2 for a spin! Please share your suggestions in the issue tracker, in the comments below, or on Twitter. Your feedback is very welcome!
Happy Developing!
