JetBrains Academy Youth Challenge: The Ultimate Coding and Math Showdown!
Get ready for the JetBrains Academy Youth Challenge, a brand-new competition for young coders and mathematicians. If you’re passionate about these fields, this is your stage to shine, compete, and win.
Choose your track
The challenge consists of two tracks: math and coding. Feel free to participate in both or choose your favorite.
Don’t forget the rules:
- Be human: This challenge is for young and creative human minds.
- Age: You must be between 13 and 18 years old.
- Schooling: You must be currently enrolled in secondary education.
The coder: solo quest
- Mode: single-player (individual participation).
- Time limit: 3 hours.
- Challenge type: a contest with ten algorithmic tasks.
- Final round: February 18, 2024, at 10:00 CET.
- Topics: data structures, sortings, dynamic programming, graphs, and greedy algorithms.
The math team: united we solve
- Mode: Multiplayer (up to three team members). Remember, you can only be on one team at a time.
- Time limit: 4 hours.
- Challenge type: automated problem checking and oral defense.
- Final round: February 25, 2024, at 10:00 CET.
- Topics: algebra, combinatorics, geometry, inequalities, number theory, and graph theory.
