Fleet
More Than a Code Editor
Fleet 1.16 Comes With Code Foldings Support, VS Code Keymap Improvements, Automatic Indentation Support, and More
Fleet 1.16 has brought a lot of bug fixes and other updates to the product and the build that’s just been released is yet another step on our path toward the public release.
Before you download it, let’s take a look at the updates in this version.
- Code foldings support was added to Fleet, making it possible to collapse specific blocks of code.
- Path aliases support was fixed in Vue projects.
- Significant VS Code keymap improvements were made. We fixed essential key assignments in every operating system.
- Indentation is now automatically detected. By default, indent type and size are detected by the file content.
- The run gutters were added for run configurations in the run.json file. There is now an option to run configurations right from the file.
- It’s now possible to invoke a blame in a diff view for a commit.
- Occasional JDK detection was removed from non-Java projects and you shouldn’t see an irrelevant notification in the projects where it isn’t required.
- The minimum width and height of the completion popup were limited so it isn’t possible to make irreversible changes in this setting.
- Apart from these improvements, a number of bugs were fixed, including the following: the right Alt key on macOS now functions correctly, accepting a completion option doesn’t result in jumping anymore, the Close all tabs button once again works as designed, and starting Fleet using the Open in IDE button doesn’t cause a crash.
These are the most important updates for Fleet 1.16. See the full release notes for the complete list of improvements and more details about the latest updates.
