On February 19, we hosted the Go 1.26 Release Party, celebrating the latest Go release together with the community. During the livestream, Go experts walked through what’s new in Go 1.26, explained why the changes matter, and discussed their impact on real-world Go development.
The event featured an in-depth technical session by Anton Zhiyanov, Go educator and creator of antonz.org, who explored the most important updates in Go 1.26 through live coding and practical examples. This was followed by a session with Alex Rios, who demonstrated how GoLand supports the new release from day one, helping developers adopt Go 1.26 with confidence.
The session consisted of a technical overview, practical demonstrations, and time for audience questions.
