To quickly create a new class I press Alt+Home and then Alt+Ins. And you?
What would it be in Mac OS X?
Alt-Home (Alt-Fn-left arrow) and then Ctrl-N
I always use Alt+1 (Project View), Alt+Ins
Ctrl-n on Eclipse, which is therefore proven vastly superior
Next step: support of batch class creation?
Splendid – works perfectly on Ubuntu 8.04 with IDEA-8.
Steve, afaik it’s not Ctrln+N in Eclipse, but rather:
Ctrl+N, Tab, up/down (if you don’t have correct item selected), Enter, Enter
Or you can just make up a name for the class, then highlight the error & fix it. jb will make the class.
Not sure why this wasn’t mentioned but you can also do CTL+ATL+Inset
this is what i was looking for, thks.
Cmd+1 followed by Cmd+N to get the new file creation prompt
