IntelliJ IDEA 11.0.2 Release Candidate

Posted on by Dmitry Jemerov

This week we’re releasing a new Early Access Preview build for IntelliJ IDEA 11.0.2, which is also the Release Candidate for the new version. Besides the usual amount of bugfixes, a noteworthy change is support for new versions of Google Chrome in the JavaScript debugger plugin.

I don’t think that you should release an IntelliJ IDEA update without fixing http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/IDEA-77900 . IDEA 10 worked very well with native git and .netrc files, while IDEA 11 doesn’t work at all.

    Sebastiano,
It turns out that the fix requires a significant amount of changes; it’s too risky to be included in 11.0.2 at this time. We plan to include it in IntelliJ IDEA 11.1.
