Groovy 2.0 support is mentioned, but I can’t find any groovy*2.0.jar inside (Mac-)Installer.
    No Groovy RT-config either

What am I missing here ?

We don’t bundle all supported languages/technologies with IDEA, you have to download the SDK from Groovy website.

How about PHP, Ruby and Python support? It says the current plugins are incompatible with the environment.

What is the roadmap for IntelliJ IDEA 12? Any rough timelines on when it will be non-eap?

Do you add support for javafx 2.

IntelliJ IDEA 12 will be released near the end of 2012.
Support for JavaFX 2 is not currently on our roadmap for IntelliJ IDEA 12.

I (and my company) support IntelliJ IDEA for many years since now. Its a shame that you ignore a Java Core technology like JavaFX2. Netbeans and Eclipse support is available. Maybe you should take some time to think about your roadmap.

I have to agree with Tom, considering that swing has been EOL and Oracle is dedicating javafx as “the” front end library, no support is a glaring issue for a “java” IDE. Also waiting on php support going forward as its a missing component for my attempt at a one stop IDE for development work. It’s some what mind boggling that a language which had been supported through official plugin, a much used language, would be abandoned with new release. Makes me think that Intellij is attempting to wrangle another license purchase for phpstorm, which drives me nuts. If I’m going to pay I want to pay for one application not twenty its the only reason to pay at all.

Any news if IntelliJ Idea 12 will be released in 2012?
JavaFX 2 still not in the roadmap for IntelliJ IDEA 12?
    Would appreciate an answer.
    Thanks.
