IntelliJ IDEA 13 EAP 130.1365 is Available

Yesterday we released IntelliJ IDEA 130.1365, one more preview build of the upcoming IntelliJ IDEA 13 release. The build includes new features and enhancements for Gradle, Android, Database Tools, Grails, Groovy, TypeScript and many parts of the IDE.

Please find the complete list of changes in Release Notes.

An important note is that the plugin API is being changed in IntelliJ IDEA 13 EAP so some of the plugins which are not-bundled (even JetBrains’ plugins) can be incompatible with the new build.

Feel free to share your feedback on our discussion forum and submit bug reports to the issue tracker.

Develop with Pleasure!

I would caution those updating to heed the warnings about plugin incompatabilities. It bit me and at least one other person so far:

It would be great if you could tell us what plugins are broken or make the start-up system more resistant to these loading errors and disable the incompatible plugins.

Update via patch doesn’t work on os x 10.8.4 :( After validation process I see screen “Update” with button “Proceed” but button doesn’t work.

@Adam Right now the workaround would to disable all unbundled plugins. Will be fixed in the next EAP.
