IntelliJ IDEA 2020.2 Release Candidate is Available
IntelliJ IDEA 2020.2 Release Candidate is ready. This is the final build before the major release, and your last chance to catch any issues before they make it into the official release.
Just to give you quick heads up! This build requires a license for IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate.
IntelliJ IDEA 2020.2 is fast approaching. Soon your IDE will support Java 15, allow you to fully control GitHub pull requests, provide a set of new and enhanced tools to help you solve complex code problems, and enable you to work with the full scope of Jakarta EE technologies.
For now, you can try these updates out one last time before the official release. To access the list of the recently added features, refer to the release notes. Keep an eye out for issues, and if you notice any, please report them to our issue tracker. We still have some time to fine-tune the final version.
If you’d like to take a more in-depth look at what this version brings, you can look back at our blog posts about the upcoming release, or watch this video that captures the most prominent IDE updates.
Your IntelliJ IDEA is about to get better. Happy developing!
