IntelliJ IDEA 2024.1.3 Is Out! 

Our second bug-fix release for IntelliJ IDEA v2024.1 is now available. 

You can update to this version from inside the IDE, using the Toolbox App, or using snaps if you are an Ubuntu user. Also, you can download it from our website.

This version brings the following improvements:

  • Fixed security issue related to JetBrains GitHub Plugin. [CVE-2024-37051]

  • PlantUML diagrams in Markdown files are correctly rendered again. [IJPL-90975]
  • When the diff view is opened in an editor tab, it no longer expands uncontrollably when using a split view. [IJPL-99522]
  • Search results for Find in project files are once again updated accurately after the source code is edited. [IJPL-45184]
  • The IDE accurately provides code highlighting and Find Usages results in projects located on APFS case-sensitive disks. [IDEA-290373]
  • The IDE no longer provides erroneous warnings for properly configured binders when working with Spring Cloud Stream. [IDEA-203963
  • Text display and column sizing in tables in the quick documentation popup has been fixed. [IJPL-149254]
  • The IDE now correctly handles the ANSI escape code in the Terminal tool window, displaying text with reversed highlighting. [IJPL-101490]
  • Running Spring Boot applications that use Liquibase no longer fail due to the duplication of changelog files. [IDEA-339492]
  • Clicking on files in the Commit tool window no longer erroneously moves them from inactive to the default changelist. [IJPL-73077]
  • The Services tool window now correctly provides output for all run configurations again. [IJPL-73636]
