Session abstract

As developers, we often find ourselves navigating through existing code far more than writing new code. To truly grasp an application’s codebase, we need insights into how frameworks and libraries are set up and how various components interconnect. The revamped Structure tool window in IntelliJ IDEA is designed to simplify this exploration.

In this session, we’ll cover:

  • The journey from AI Assistant research to the redesign of the Structure tool window.
  • How to leverage the new Structure tool window’s Logical view to seamlessly explore and understand your codebase.
  • Ways to access and execute context-relevant actions directly from the Structure tool window.

Asking questions

Siva will try to answer all of your questions during the session. If we run out of time, we’ll publish answers to any remaining questions in a follow-up blog post.
