Support for Google App Engine PHP in PhpStorm

We are happy to announce support for Google App Engine PHP (announced at Google I/O 2013 conference) in PhpStorm IDE.

Currently the support is provided with non-bundled plugin ‘Google App Engine Support for PHP’ already available in JetBrains Plugin Repository for PhpStorm. It can be installed right from the IDE in Settings | Plugins.

There is a variety of features to try right now, such as:

  • Creating the Google App Engine PHP application from the scratch
  • Running application locally with Google App Engine PHP
  • Debugging application locally with Google App Engine PHP
  • Uploading (deploying) the application to Google App Engine PHP (Appspot)
